HGI Wins Winchester Employer of the Year Award

WINCHESTER, Virginia – May 22, 2014 – The Hilton Garden Inn Winchester accepted the “Winchester Employer of the Year” Award from the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) on May 14, 2014 at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton.<

Executive Chef Marco Pantano accepted the award on behalf of the Hilton Garden Inn for his work with DARS. The Hilton Garden Inn was acknowledged at the award ceremony as being a Champion of Disability Awareness. Victoria Collins, the Assistant General Manager of the hotel, also attended the event and said “We appreciate the honor of being acknowledged by DARS, and I am so glad I was able to attend the awards ceremony.” Chef Marco agreed with this sentiment and added, “It was a truly inspiring event – I am proud that the Hilton Garden Inn and I were able to be a part of something so special.”
