Part Time Night Auditor – Comfort Inn Martinsburg

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Night Auditor position is an overnight position responsible for verifying and balancing entries and records of financial transactions reported by various hotel departments during day. The Night Auditor is a member of the Front Desk team and must possess strong telephone skills, excellent hospitality skills, strong problem solving skills, and be detail oriented.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Report daily restaurant data by auditing Point of Service journals to breakdown food and alcohol revenue, covers, taxes, tips, and settlements.
• Run audit reports from the front office system and Point of Service.
• Identify and correct the causes of any out-of-balance situations in a timely manner.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for next day operations.
• Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for preparation of daily reports.
• Act as Manager on Duty and attend to all guest needs at the front desk.
• Setting up Daily AM breakfast until kitchen staff arrives.
